Департаментът по Имиграция и Гражданство препоръчва следните тестове при кандидатстване за студентска виза:

International English Language Testing System (IELTS) Certificate
Test of English as a Foreign Language internet-Based Test (TOEFL iBT) Certificate
TOEFL Paper-Based Test (PBT) Certificate (This test is only acceptable if taken in one of the following countries where IELTS is not available: Belarus, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Kyrgyzstan, Mali, Moldova, Solomon Islands, Suriname, Tajikistan, Tanzania, Uganda and Uzbekistan.)
Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic Certificate
Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE) Certificate
Occupational English Test

Академичен модул на IELTS тест

Условие за кандидатстване в учебно заведение в Австралия е успешното преминаване на академичния модул на IELTS тест-а. В зависимост от специалността, която бъде избрана изискването за минимален резултат може да варира между 5,5 и 7,5.

Таксата за явяване на IELTS тест за периода от 1 януари до 31 декември 2015 г. е 365 лв.(по информация от страницата на Британския Съвет)
